Industrial Services Technician

HydroBlasting Jet & Vacuum Truck Technician
Pay up to $20/hr, based on experience

The Industrial Services Technician is responsible for the tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

This position requires manual labor to perform water blasting, industrial vacuuming, tank cleaning hydro excavation, surface cleanup, chemical cleaning and more. Work is performed in diverse environments, sometimes outdoors, in confined spaces, at heights, elevated noises. This is a great opportunity to work as part of a team and grow and advance from entry-level to supervisory/management at Hill Services.

Position Requirements

  • Training: Successfully pass all exams in our paid one-week training program
  • Experience: Preferred to have a background in construction (or related fields) and heavy machinery
  • Skills: Mechanically inclined, sound judgment, strong work ethic, effective communication
  • Physical: Fit for strenuous tasks, comfortable in confined spaces and at heights, able to lift 50-75 lbs, able to work while standing for 8+ hours, able to climb stairs
  • Schedule: Variable, some travel and overnight stays covered by the company, and on-call rotation


  • Must pass a 7-year criminal background check
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Able to obtain DOT Medical Card, respirator fitness and audiometric certification
